TED HOSP ELECTED CHAIR OF THE ALABAMA STATE BAR SECTION ON ELECTIONS, ETHICS, AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS LAW
Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C. is pleased to announce that attorney Ted Hosp has been elected the new Chair of the Alabama State Bar Section on Elections, Ethics, and Government Relations Law. Mr. Hosp has been the Vice Chair of this section for the past two years.
Mr. Hosp is a Shareholder of the firm and a member of the Governmental and Regulatory Affairs practice. Mr. Hosp has a broad range of experience in government affairs, campaign finance and ethics law, class action litigation in State and Federal courts, and institutional litigation involving government entities. From 1999 to 2003, he served as Legal Advisor to the Governor of Alabama. Ted has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Alabama School of Law teaching classes on Government Ethics and Election Law. The members of the Elections, Ethics, and Government Relations Law Section are attorneys interested in elections, ethics, campaign finance, lobbying, and government contracting disclosure issues at the federal, state, and local level. Attorneys in this section work to foster communications and assist in the education of State Bar members on these subjects. This section also serves as a resource for organizations and officials to assist in evaluating forms, rules, requirements, training programs, and proposed changes to the law.
