Maynard & Gale (Maynard) is pleased to announce that Logan Gould and Hongpyo Lee have joined the Firm, adding industry depth and global experience to the Insurance Litigation and Intellectual Property practices.

Mr. Gould and Mr. Lee join an impressive group of 18 laterals who have joined Maynard’s Nashville, Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Huntsville, and Birmingham offices this year.

Logan Gould joins the Firm as an Associate in the Insurance & Financial Services practice. Mr. Gould has nearly a decade of experience in the life, health, and disability field with hands-on experience navigating policy drafting, compliance, implementation, and claims administration. He will serve a national client base from Maynard’s New York office. Before joining Maynard, Mr. Gould was Assistant Vice President & Senior Counsel at The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, where he was company lead for Group Insurance litigation and interpleaders.

Mr. Gould also has significant experience with Diversity & Inclusion programs, including helping companies and firms strengthen their diversity initiatives. He earned his J.D. from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Journal on Dispute Resolution. He holds a B.A. from Trinity College.

Hongpyo Lee joins Maynard as an Associate in the Intellectual Property practice. From the Firm’s Birmingham, AL office, he will serve a global client base focused on patent litigation matters. Prior to Maynard, Mr. Lee worked in New York with a global law firm.

His impressive academic credentials include a J.D. and LL.M in taxation from Boston University School of Law, where he served as a Staff Member on the American Journal of Law and Medicine. Mr. Lee holds a B.S. in Medicinal Chemistry, magna cum laude, with Highest Distinction, from The State University of New York University at Buffalo, and a M.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Connecticut. He is also fluent in Korean.
