TWO ATTORNEYS JOIN MAYNARD COOPER’S LABOR & EMPLOYMENT PRACTICE

Matthew W. Stiles represents employers in all facets of the employment relationship, with an emphasis in employee benefits and executive compensation. He served as Associate General Counsel for Regions Bank from 2004-2007, where he had chief responsibility for its labor and employment matters, nationwide. Stiles received his J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law and his undergraduate degree from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn.
Matthew J. Cannova represents employers in a range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters. His practice includes drafting employee benefit plan documents and materials to conform to legal requirements under ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code, as well as assisting clients in their efforts to comply with HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA and the Affordable Care Act (health care reform). He is admitted to practice in the states of Alabama and Florida. Cannova received his J.D. magna cum laude from The University of Alabama School of Law and attended The Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration at the University of Alabama for his undergraduate degree in Health Care Management.
