Robert is an Associate in Maynard Cooper’s Corporate section and a member of the Firm’s Tax and Merger & Acquisitions practice groups.
He handles federal and state tax matters for business entities of all sizes and across a broad range of industries. Robert advises businesses and their owners with decisions regarding choice of entity structure, questions about tax codes and regulations impacting taxability, and tax planning. With his experience working in the U.S. Tax Court in Washington, D.C., Robert also assists clients facing investigations and potential litigation.
As a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group, Robert assists clients on both the buy-side and sell-side of acquisitions across a variety of industries. He also advises both individuals and business on a wide range of general corporate matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, business restructuring, and corporate governance.
Robert is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law and the University of Alabama, with a degree in Accounting. He is a member of the Georgia Bar.
